Madrid Derby and The Rocket

December 2, 2012 5:00 am Philippine Time
Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid, Santiago Bernabeu

It was highly anticipated, like El Clasico. They said before Barcelona, it was Atletico Madrid who was Real Madrid's arch rival. While Atletico Madrid was also ahead of Real Madrid currently in the league standing with 8 points before this game, they also need to chalk up wins as much as they can as they were also behind Barcelona with 11 points, more so, they need to bounce back after an upsetting loss to Betis last week, and also after being criticized more by Madridista all over especially with Mourinho. On their game against Alcoyano last time, fans whistled at Mou. Mou had said a lot too and press was just putting more and more stories. Then funny enough, an incident happened that saw Madrid stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Pepe, Coentrao and Arbeloa left behind by the Real Madrid bus on the night before the game as they met up in Santiago Bernabeu to go to the hotel before the game. Mou decided to leave all of them and the five just catch up on Arbeloa's SUV.

The game though was little like the same all Derby matches, and some more. First, Real Madrid dominates, and Atletico was not themselves. Just like all the Derby matches, Real went on to win this one tallying their wins to 24, 22 in league play. Just like the past two, Cristiano Ronaldo was the main man of it. What a better way to go back in scoring form too, as Ronaldo was 3 games without a goal, he got it off a freekick - the good old "Ronaldo Rocket", which was he last scored against Atletico too. On the 15th minute he had scored the goal and the Atletico Madrid keeper can't do anything to stop it. I love Iker Casillas reaction to it (and according to people he was impressed and said "what a goal, kid" twice). The first half saw some more chances for Real Madrid although the score managed to end at 1-0 at halftime. Second half, Cristiano Ronaldo was still at it. He had a good chance from a Benzema pass but shot just wide, then on the 66th minute, he had managed to pass the ball to Ozil and the German wonderfully curled his body to kick the ball and find the net. It was awesome. More chances came in especially for Ronaldo, one a freekick again that hit the bar, then another one - from a pass of Ozil where he sprinted to an almost 96 meters in just less than 10 seconds - hit the post. Ronaldo was frustrated to see those shots come off but his effort was just so wonderful. In the end, sports headlines all over held Cristiano as the king of the derby.

It's a good day, for us Madridista. We have known that the players are just working hard and not giving up. Despite still trailing by 11 points by Barca, life never ends for Real Madrid in La Liga. I'm happy for this win, I'm happy to see Cristiano back in the score sheet getting his 90 goals in Santiago Bernabeu with 81 appearances, 99th under Mourinho with 86 appearances, and a lot more records to create. Iker once again proved he was the best goal keeper and Real Madrid the best team in defense as they had another clean sheet and against a great team too. And Mourinho had the most wins against Atletico in Spain too.

Thanks Real Madrid for once again making us all happy and proud. Hala Madrid!

Tough Times for Madridista

Madridista
Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao
November 18, 2012 5:00 am Philippine Time

It was one of those rare nights that Real Madrid was showing signs of perfectness, it was one of those rare nights where everyone was playing good, it was one of those rare nights where Real Madrid scored 5 goals and their main scorer Cristiano Ronaldo had not scored at all. The game saw a comeback from Karim Benzema who had suffered an injury and had to be rested for 2 games. His game was close to perfect, he had forced the first goal, scored another from an assist of Callejon, and then provide an assist as well to Ozil. Everyone really played well. Arbeloa had an assist too to Khedira, Ozil to Sergio Ramos, and though Real Madrid had conceded a goal, their defense were not in question that night. The thing too was Cristiano Ronaldo played exceptional despite having a blanc from the scoresheet. He had some good passes, one that led to Benzema to put another superb pass to Ozil, he had made some shots (a lot of on target) and had threaten to put his name on the scoresheet. It must have been sad for him as he didn't add one to his name but just like Arbeloa had said after the game during an interview, Cristiano was happy as the team had won.

There's still a lot of issues surrounding the Real Madrid dressing room especially Cristiano Ronaldo. Newspapers from Spain like As.com had said that the Portuguese was still unhappy and might really find an exit after the end of the season. They said that Ronaldo was still not feeling supported by the team, and I might have to agree as they had never showed any reaction as well to Ronaldo getting hurt during the Levante game and Albiol actually had showed concern more to Navarro the guy who injured Ronaldo. As a fan of Ronaldo - that's quite upsetting. But I have faith too that despite all of these Cristiano will still do his best for the club.

UCL - Manchester City vs Real Madrid

November 22, 2012 3:30 am Philippine Time
Going to the UEFA Champions League game against Man City, I had felt the love that the Man United had to Cristiano. It's going to be the first time Cristiano will be back in the city when he had left Man United back in 2009. And the Man United people are more than excited to see him back. What Gary Neville had written described the real Ronaldo, exceptional, ambitious, one of the best. He had described how he used to not understand him, then how Cristiano had magnificently changed his views over football. It had made me know Cristiano more and I appreciate it. There's another one written this time about what some other Man United players have to say and it clearly showed they had always appreciated Cristiano no matter what.
Game time, Man City fans of course had booed Ronaldo to the best of their ability. But Cristiano was awesome, he had made some distinctive moves that left Man City defenders dancing. As Rooney had tweeted during the game, Cristiano was killing people here. The game did not see him finding the back of the net though. He had made some good passes and Khedira was the recipient but was only able to shot wide on two chances. Cristiano was able to send one over at Hart too but was cleared by another Man City defender. Benzema scored the lone goal and Man City was awarded a penalty which is questionable and had even sent Real Madrid to just 10 players after Arbeloa was sent out. I felt that the referee was a bit unfair to Cristiano too as he was pushed a lot of times and nothing was called. Iker was the usual as he had provided Madrid some awesome saves along the way. The game did ended in a draw but it means Man City will be out of UCL as Borussia Dortmund beats Ajax in the other game. The draw was enough for Real Madrid to be qualified ending second. Mourinho doesn't mind that at all.

La Liga Betis vs Real Madrid

November 25, 2012 5:00 am Philippine Time

This was shockingly upsetting. Real Madrid need not to lose games if they want to keep up with Barcelona in the standings but this had happened. Just like everyone else, had noticed that Real Madrid played the first part of the game well enough, Cristiano had created a chance again passing it to Khedira but again it was wide. Then came the Betis goal. After that, the game was completely changed. Some shots are tentative, possessions were lost. Kaka was substitute in place of Ozil during the half and he really had a great chance to equalize but the Betis keeper was just as good beating his long shot. Callejon was put in so as Modric and there's some more good chances like Cristiano's free kick which again was saved by the Betis keeper, and some more. Overall, despite the chances, it was an upsetting play by the Whites. Benzema had a goal ruled offside where he was clearly not, then during the endgame, they were also denied of a penalty out of the handball in the area by Betis. Everything did fall out for Madrid. At the end of the weekend, Barcelona was ahead 11 points and Atletico Madrid ahead of 9 points.

During the press conference given by Mou, he had pointed out some things why they had lost. He had blamed himself, the game of the players, the schedules, the referee. He really had a point. Personally, no matter what, I support Mou. I trust him. I know he knows the best. He had already proven that. Regardless of the result of the game, I appreciate the players positivity. Arbeloa, Casillas, Alonso among others when asked that all that matters now are the next few games. And they were right. As much as it's upsetting, I know there's going to be something good after this. Everyone will learn, I'm certain of it.
It's a sad fact that Ronaldo had only scored once this month. But I know he'll be back. I hope he will, he's badly needed now.
If in case news about some problems inside the Madrid locker room was true, I can only hope it will be fixed soon. More than winning, what I want for them was to be happy and together.

Real Madrid vs Alcoyano
FT 3-0
November 28, 2012 4:30 am Philippine Time

So technically, was not able to see this game. From what I've learned, Cristiano was among the people on the bench but was still rested, Kaka was not included at all, then the goals came in late after Benzema and Di Maria got subbed in. Goals are from Di Maria and a brace for Callejon. They had dominated the match most of the time and it's just enough to seal the spot on top 16. What I have heard too was Mou was whistled by Real Madrid fans at Santiago Bernabeu. That's tough. As what they've been telling, Madridista are demanding. Iker Casillas share an interview after the match and he had reminded the fans to remember what Mou had done for them, Alonso and Arbeloa shares the same as they hailed Mourinho as the best that could have coached Real Madrid. As much as the situation in games are really different now, I think this is the time where Real Madrid needs us most.

In more recent news, FIFA had released the top three contenders for Ballon D'Or. It's Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta, the same three that was candidate for the UEFA Best Player. Just like the same, opinions rise as who will be the next one hailed, will Messi gets his world record fourth, will Cristiano gets his second, or will Iniesta surprised everyone again. First, I'm sad that Iker Casillas had not made it. A lot had said he deserves nomination, he's instrumental to numerous championships of Spain last year and to recent La Liga success of Real Madrid, but goalkeepers are underrated. Had been reading Falcao deserve a spot too, and I agree that his one of the best, but those three there? I don't think anyone should question it. There's so many of them whose great, but the three really was exceptional for their teams. Cristiano Ronaldo had said the nomination was overwhelming for him. I'm glad his happy. No question asked, he deserve to be named the best. As much as Messi was exceptional with his 50 goals in La Liga and 83 as for the whole 2012 year, it's Cristiano who had a silverware under his belt and a major one which is La Liga, had helped Portugal to reach Euro 2012 semis and had his own records set too, among was scoring againt all the La Liga teams he had faced, and scoring 6 consecutive in El Clasico. Real Madrid had an amazing record in La Liga last year. Coach Jose Mourinho was among the candidates for the best coach and he deserves it too. It's good that players who voted had named Ronaldo and Mourinho, it's a fact that the two had done great and it's good that they were recognized. Not unlike in La Liga itself when despite the records this two had set, they were denied of the awards they deserve. I felt it's mostly envy. If there's something that Ronaldo and Mou had in common, it's either they were being love much or hate much.

No matter what though I love those too and I love Real Madrid. Tough times for us but I'm keeping the faith. Win or lose. Hala Madrid!

Levante 1-2 Real Madrid

La Liga: Levante vs Real Madrid Ciutat de Valencia
November 12, 2012 4:30 am Philippine Time

I couldn't have ask for anything more from my fave player Cristiano Ronaldo. At an early 2 minute off from the game, he received a nasty cut on his eyebrow from an elbow of a Levante player - Navarro. It was like the scene you see in UFC, where blood was just free flowing off his face. It was nasty. It had to be stitched (while he was still at the side of the pitch) and according to news it had 5 stitches. Aside from that incident, this was actually the first time I saw a pitch like this, as Ozil had tweeted after the match, it was like a Waterpolo. The pitch was more than wet, it was flooding. Ball don't slide off the kicks, really difficult for both teams but Levante had made sure it will be more difficult for Real Mardrid, they've committed a lot of fouls and some are quite serious fouls. But again, Cristiano Ronaldo isn't the one to be stop with all this condition, with one eye being blocked, he scored Real Madrid's first goal and took the lead for them. It was a nice control of the ball using his thigh. It was amazing and just like every Madridista, everyone appreciated Ronaldo for a work well done. Halftime sees him off the pitch being replaced by Albiol. According to Mou after the game, Ronaldo had loss vision from both eyes at the half and have to subbed. Levante equalize but Real Madrid went on to win the game with youth player Morata just coming on the pitch to replace Ozil scoring on the 84th minute via header off a free-kick. It was amazing for him and the rest of Real Madrid. It could have been more when Callejon was awarded a penalty kick off a pass from Kaka but Xavi Alonso's kick was saved by Levante keeper. The game was a difficult one for Real Madrid and having the three points was just deserving.

Unfortunately, Cristiano was advise not to play for Portugal on a friendly game vs Gabon after some tests due to his eye injury. It was said he had a craniofacial trauma, with an injury to his eyelid and the eye and having some dizzy spells, problems with vision and headache. Ozil also suffered an injury during the Levante game with an injury to the ankle and was also exempted for playing for Germany NT.

With all of these, I'm happy to have Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid side. He was unbelievable and continue to be unbelievable. I love this guy.

I'm happy with the win, sad that a lot was hurt but that's part of the game.

Hala Madrid! and till next hame!

Get well soon Cristiano Ronaldo!

Real Madrid Win and Draw

La Liga
Real Madrid vs Zaragoza November 4, 2012 3:00 am Philippine Time

The important thing is the win, I was thinking of that the whole time, but had to admit was a little upset when Cristiano Ronaldo's eight games scoring streak had to end. Real Madrid dominated the game but at first had never had that much chances. They had suffered a little with Xavi Alonso not playing having been suspended after getting his 5th yellow card their last La Liga games. Goals was from Higuain, Di Maria at the first half and Modric and Essien from the second half. Iker and the defense was key too, though Zaragosa was able to had some shots, Iker was there to saved it. Again, I'm happy with the Real Madrid win, and for consolation too, Barcelona's Messi didn't scored as well (though they won) and Atletico Madrid's Falcao didn't scored too (and they lost) so goals scoring still stand with Messi leading at 13, Cristiano with 11 and Falcao with 10. And also though still behind 8 points, Real Madrid was on third now and behind Atletico Madrid for 5 points. Long way to go. I hope Cristiano scores some goals again. (hahahe selfish me)

UEFA Champions League
Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund November 7, 2012 3:30 am Philippine Time

A draw seems to be the fair result. Just the same, Real Madrid never had clear chances and was able to put it on a draw only to the last 87th minute through an Ozil free-kick (and it's astounding!) The 2 goals from Borussia was some lapses on defense, even one from an Own Goal from Arbeloa. But it's okay, the fact that we are only a point behind and still sits second on the group of death was just fine. Cristiano Ronaldo again did not find the net this time ( I thought he was well covered and defended) but a goal from Pepe was just great and Ozil's too. I like what Mou said at the press conference after the game, "if we were first at the group that's okay, if we are second, then that's problem to the first on the other groups'' hahaha!

I like it when Cristiano was on some news again this week. He had some interviews about the Ballon D Or, and again being just true to himself. he said he will vote for himself if he could to win the it. Haha exactly the opposite of what Iker said, but yeah we all have our own opinions. Also like what he said about Messi, how he respects him just like any other players and saying he don't mind playing with Messi if he'd come to Real and not Cristiano to Barcelona. Really he's the truest among the players and just have to respect that.

Can't wait for another game of ours!

Real Madrid win over Mallorca

October 29, 2012 4:30 am Philippine Time
Stadium: Iberostar Estadi

Just another important win for Real Madrid as they try to keep up with the league leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, and they pull it out in a very good passion too. Mallorca was to be said not playing at their best but I think credit should be given enough to the Los Blancos who had taken advantage of their skills, talent and strategy. There are changes still since some key players were out, again we see Modric starting with Ozil, there's Essien and Ramos who played different positions not the same as before, and the result was thus amazing. First goal was as early on the 8th minute with Higuain coming from a pass and a poor defending of Mallorca. The shot was just perfect. Then second goal came from non other than Cristiano Ronaldo who had scored 8 consecutive times now, longest he had here in Real Madrid beating his previous of 7. That goal came from Higuain's pass with two other namely Ozil and Di Maria setting up the play. Halftime sees 0-2 for away team. Mallorca only had once chance and it was magnificently saved by The Saint Iker.

Second half sees more dominance from Real Madrid and a little showing and resistance from the home side. Third goal came from again Higuain and this time Cristiano Ronaldo return the favor to him passing a through ball to make it 0-3. After just less than 3 minutes, Higuain set up another through ball, which was a bit ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, but still Ronaldo able to shoot it pass the goal keeper. Wonderful 4th goal. Substitutions came Morata replacing Higuain, Albiol replacing Xavi Alonso then Callejon to Di Maria and good enough, Callejon added another one from an Ozil cross.

It is an important win for us, though we are still down 8 points. All is good and positive. There was yet indeed more records done by Cristiano Ronaldo,as he became the 2nd player in La Liga's history (after Isidro Lángara) to score +10 goals in the 1st 9 Liga matches in 3 consecutive seasons. He also tied with Butragueno and Pirri with 123 goals in Real Madrid's all time top liga scorer, and he did it with only in less than 3 seasons. Even Mourinho had his own record set having 31 away wins becoming the 3rd best team manager in the team's history.

Got a bit disappointed with this news though about news from Mallorca trainer Caparros, he said he was disappointed with Ronaldo jeering the fans and need humility. During the game saw tweets that fans were actually jeering and taunting Cristiano Ronaldo, something that I think was personally offensive, and Ronaldo react by putting his hand in his ear like saying (I can't hear you). Ronaldo was merely keeping himself still composed despite the taunts and the personal attack. He's not being arrogant. There's really going to be some people who will just see negative off him even if it's not there. But I know Ronaldo, whatever they say, it won't matter to him. What matters are the people who know him more.

The list for Balon D Or was announced and six players from Real Madrid was included namely Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Xavi Alonso, Karim Benzema and Mezut Ozil. Real Madrid has the most number of nominees with six followed by Barcelona with five. Hope one of them gets it. They definitely deserves it.

Again, Gracias Real Madrid for a good show!

Hala Madrid!

Real Madrid Second in Group of Death

UEFA Champions League Group D

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Real Madrid

Going to Germany, Real Madrid was more than wary it will be difficult to win. Previous records does not favor them well and Dortmund was after all Bundesliga's Champion. And the fact that after the international break, the Whites just lost 3 regular full backs in Marcelo, Arbeloa and Coentrao.

The game though saw Los Blancos dominating the possession from at the start of the match. They have started with Khedira being back after an injury as well (and not playing at their La Liga game vs Celta Vigo) but after just 20 minutes, he had suffered pain and was substitute by Modric. Though Real Madrid kept the possession, there weren't many chances for them. It was the Germans who first scored at the 36' minute after Pepe losing possession of the ball, Iker Casillas had made previous saves prior to this goal, but this one, he can only do much. But just like the classic Real Madrid, the Germans just enjoyed the goal for a few minutes and the game was tied, with non other Cristiano Ronaldo scoring off an Ozil pass. He had a beautiful volley that lobbed above the goalkeeper as he had tried to get in front of Ronaldo. Cristiano said Calma.

Halftime saw the same, Real Madrid still having possession but no chances. It was still the Germans who had created most of their possessions and at 64' minute, after Iker Casillas clearing punch was a little weak and reach Dortmund's Schmelzer, they were up to 2-1. Real Madrid failed to do anything more, and Borussia made sure they won't by doing great defense too.

The game was a good one, it would have been better for us Madridista had they won or at least a draw, but with the game they and Borussia had shown, that was the correct tresult. They were down to the second spot in this Group but was only down by a point and was still ahead of three points to the third placer Ajax after Ajax beating Manchester City that same day. Everyone was optimistic, Mourinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas, Alonzo, it certainly was a long way to go.

I got amazed (and a little nervous) at one point when a fan enters a pitch and directly heads towards Cristiano Ronaldo at the 79' minute of the game. I have heard and read recent news of fans hurting the players (whether they are for or against the team/player) and I thought he'll hurt someone. Security was already following him though and what he did was really cute (and as described by an article a little too ambitious). He had motioned to swap shirts with Cristiano Ronaldo during the game. I don't know what Cristiano had said but he didn't seemed to be bothered by the fan at all. It was funny.

Also like what Jose Mourinho had said after they had lost, that all the other groups are jokes. Hahaha, expect something like that will come from Mou, but he do have a point, realizing that a League Champion will have to go to Europa League to qualify.

Before this game, Real Madrid was able to get three more points at La Liga after beating Celta Vigo. Cristiano Ronaldo scored off a penalty conceded by Ozil after Higuain made the game 1-0 with a difficult shot on a difficult angle. CR7 once again made records by scoring against all teams he had faced with Real Madrid. With his score as well in UCL against Dortmund, he's still the leading scorer with 5 goals in 3 appearances and it was actually the first time Real Madrid had lost after Ronaldo scored. That was an amazing record.

There was some issues again with Iker Casillas voting for Sergio Ramos first for Balon D Or giving him 5 points, Cristiano Ronaldo second for 3 points and Xavi (Barcelona) with 1 point. I don't mind it all though. The fact that he still voted for Ronaldo was good. And I think too everyone in Real Madrid deserves to be voted for that award.

Cristiano Ronaldo by the way continue to made some records by having his 100th cap in Portugal (although their qualifying games against Russia and Northern Ireland was forgetful) and was the third youngest to achieve it. One more thing that he had was getting 50 million plus likes in Facebook making him the most popular athlete in that social network. Many people would said they wouldn't care but I bet they liked him too in Facebook. Hahaha. Sweet enough of Ronaldo, he had a contest and ask his fans to send pics of them and represent their countries and he'll post the best. As of the moment, he had posted cool pics of fans already (and Philippines was included...cool). Me and my fellow CR7 fan was planning to create one too, but I doubt if it will be chosen. Hahaha. Still I'm happy for Cristiano no matter what.

Also happy for Iker Casillas, he's about to received Prince of Asturias Award with fellow NT teammate and one of his closest friend at Barcelona Xavi Hernadez.
So proud of Iker because he really exemplifies true sportsmanship, hard work and friendship as well.

Looking forward to more of their games. Just so happy seeing them, seeing them play, and seeing them work hard too. I hope some of the Real Madrid guys will be back soon. As I have heard Arbeloa and Coentrao could be back after their next game in La Liga this Sunday. Hope for a full recovery of Marcelo too after a successful surgery. Marcelo is an example of hope and happiness and that made it so promising he will be back soon.

Gracias Real Madrid! Till next time!

Hala Madrid!

Cristiano Ronaldo's Hot Scoring Week and a Very Amazing El Classico

UEFA Champions League Ajax vs Real Madrid
October 4, 2012 2:45 am Philippine Time

Cristiano Ronaldo just scored a hat-trick in their La Liga game before this, and then he followed it up with another hat-trick here in UCL making him the 9th all-time scorer in UCL. The game against Ajax was dominated by Real Madrid. Even Ajax admitted that they didn't played well and it costs them much. Ronaldo and Real Madrid scored the first goal in the first half from a Benzema pass and although Real Madrid actually had more chances, it was still great. Then second half showed more goals and all amazing ones. I was delighted to see Kaka starting for Real Madrid and he provided quality minutes just the same. He had some chances and set up some as usual, and then his amazing cross to Benzema and Karim just equally making it more amazing by doing a bicycle kick for their second goal. That's awesome. Ajax was able to score to make it 1-2 and just like the old conceded goals by Real Madrid, it was yet another one from a set-piece this time from a corner. Ajax threatened and they could have equalized, getting more possessions, but Cristiano Ronaldo was just unstoppable to get his first UCL hat-trick. In the 79th minute he had a  shot from outside the area and it was really great. It's a pass from Benzema too and after just two minutes Ronaldo scored again lobbing a shot off the goalkeeper to make it 1-4. It's the usual Ronaldo perhaps. With that space so wide for Ronaldo, it's just going to be difficult for other teams goalkeeper to stop him. It's great. Real Madrid was on top of their group with 6 points and showing good signs they are back.

Again, everyone who played, played awesome. Just so happy to see Kaka and playing so well. There's some controversies again surrounding them, with Ozil coming off the bench and Modric not playing at all. But just the same, it was only the newspapers who's making it sound it's a controversy. Real Madrid players, assured, they were all good. I'm okay with it.

La Liga El Classico Barcelona vs Real Madrid
October 8, 2012 1:50 am Philippine Time

Everyone was waiting for this. The whole world to be exact. Everyone, internet, newspaper, even here in the Philippines, it's all been anticipated. And waiting for it was all worth it. The game could have not ended more fitting than these. Fulltime scores at 2-2, with Messi two goals, Cristiano Ronaldo two goals. My reaction, does it really always have to be them??? For this one, I say yes. They were the best. But watching the game, it was more than that of course. Playing at Away side, Real Madrid started the game well. They had some chances from Sergio Ramos, from Karim Benzema, and it shed a light that they can actually pull one out. And they did. Cristiano Ronaldo opens up the scoring in the 23rd minute and was the first ever to score 6 consecutive times on an El Classico. He had silenced the Barca fans but just for a while. Messi scored and equalized after some misses from inside. That could have been stopped, but that's Messi, so yeah, that's just understandable too. After that Messi goal, Barcelona seems to dominate the game by then but halftime was tied at 1-1. Then came second half, possession was still dominated by Barcelona although they really weren't able to make some shots too. Then again, from a conceded free-kick, Messi again scored and make it 2-1 at the 61st minute. It's an amazing free-kick (although I have to be bias and say Ronaldo's free kicks were more awesome and powerful), and sad for Real Madrid as they were down. But after just five minutes, again Cristiano Ronaldo scored and make it 2-2. You just can't complain more. They were both amazing and having to watch these two was just a good feeling. Sad though because Ronaldo injured his shoulder and was in pain for some time though he finished the game. I just hope that he will be okay.

I just have to agree with Mourinho, we fans were treated with yet another best game. We enjoyed it all and it's thanks to both the teams Real Madrid and Barcelona, its thanks to all the players, it's thanks to two of the world's best Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Gracias Real Madrid!!! Gracias Cristiano Ronaldo!

Hala Madrid!
